It takes Adam a second to comprehend what Ronan means and then the implication hits him, pulls the breath from him. "I'll do it," he says. Their chances of anything are low but he doesn't care. They both want, need that certainty the way they need certainty in so many parts of their lives because of how it's been denied them.
